Will my child have settling sessions prior to starting?
Yes. At Bardfield Montessori we offer two visits to the nursery in advance of your child’s start date to support their transition to nursery. We encourage a parent or familiar face to stay.
What should my child wear to nursery?
Please dress your child in comfortable clothing, with plenty of spare items in their nursery bag. We recommend having items such as socks, vests, leggings, jogging bottoms, t-shirts, cardigans and long sleeve tops as spares in your child’s bag.
The nursery will send reminders to you to update your child’s nursery bag with clothing needed and additional clothing recommendations for specific days like forest school or trips.
Do you have nursery uniform?
Yes. Bardfield Montessori provides a branded rucksack and t-shirt on enrolment and further uniform is available to purchase through the office.
