Parent Partnership

We view parents and carers as essential partners, vital in the development of every child. We understand how important it is to feel welcomed into your child’s nursery and to feel happy and confident in the setting you choose.

We ensure every family member is welcomed through the door, spending real time in the classrooms and talking with staff. We host events throughout the year, where families and extended family are invited to attend, and become part of the nursery community. We encourage you to be a part of annual birthday celebrations where your child experiences a wonderful ‘trip around the world’, with photos and objects from their previous years.

It is important that families are kept up to date with their child’s day at nursery and learning throughout their time with us which is why we choose to update everyone through an app, ensuring parents receive daily updates of their child. From sharing your child independently putting their coat, visiting the local library, digging in the sand pit, when they are sleeping or what they have eaten – it’s important we share it as much as possible.

This also includes families updating us with home videos and photographs of special occasions, trips to the beach and home achievements.
